PROFESSIONAL ONLINE COURSES FROM
YASMIN STUART | EQUINE PHYSIOTHERAPIST
"People don't understand what learning is. Learning isn't memorising information, learning is changing your behaviour." - David Senra
It is Yasmin's passion to help people to better understand their horse - not just from a performance standpoint, but from the perspective that their horse is an individual who extends beyond the parameters determined by social norms, human ideology and research.
Throughout her career, Yasmin has recognised that there is a lot of information that circulates the equine industry, some is geared towards horse welfare - encouraging horse guardians to make educated choices for the benefit of their horse - though we are still working through a great deal of outdated, unsupported training and management advice.
Yasmin believes that it is imperative that anyone involved with horses can recognise when a horse is struggling, identify why that might be and then curate a plan to do something about it; even if that involves outsourcing to other professionals. Over the course of her career, she has identified a common theme around why horses might be struggling: a misunderstanding around horse behaviour, posture and exercise programming and, as such, she has developed two online courses to help you to better understand your horse:
The intention for this course is not to make you an expert in the field of horse posture, but to help you to recognise abnormalities, understand their aetiology and articulate your observations – thus helping you to become a better advocate for the horses around you. This course is suitable for everyone - whether you are a horse owner looking to help your horse, or a professional in the industry looking to enhance your skillset.
This course is designed for horse owners and professionals alike, to support horses in being happy, healthy athletes, genuinely. This looks like so much more than simply improving physical performance – it looks like recognising your horse’s emotional health and physical health. Understanding when to progress an exercise, when to regress an exercise and when to stay at the current level because the horse needs more time.
These courses are video-based and self-paced study, drawing on Yasmin's knowledge, personal experience and continued professional development. By signing up to a course you gain exclusive lifetime access to the course content.
